DPT White Coat Ceremony Set for June 6

The DPT Class of 2024 will soon leave campus to begin their final year of clinical experiences. Ninety-five DPT students will mark this milestone by donning their brand new white coats in a ceremony set for 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, at Duke Chapel.

Neuro Camp Helps People Continue Their Recovery

It’s been 20 months since Raleigh resident and full-time private chef Aaron Vaughen sustained an injury to his brain that impacted his vision, speech, and movement down his entire right side. It’s been a long, windy road back, filled with supportive people and programs. 
 

Center of Excellence in Manual and Manipulative Therapy Center Funded

The Doctor of Physical Therapy Division, the Department of Orthopaedics, and the School of Medicine have approved the creation of a Center of Excellence in Manual and Manipulative Therapy (CEMMT). The Center will focus on the dissemination of evidence associated with manual therapies through “living” systematic reviews, a repository of study summaries, an active social media presence, a monthly blog, and patient-facing materials on its website.
