Students in the Duke Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Class of 2027 began their graduate school journey on August 5. The 104 students in the class attended an orientation week packed with programming that laid the groundwork for a successful start to their program.

DPT Students Volunteer at Global Soccer Tournament in NC
Soccer fans traveled to Cary, North Carolina, for The Soccer Tournament (TST) at WakeMed Soccer Park this summer. The second year of this event was a huge success, hosting 48 men’s and eight women’s teams. The seven-versus-seven open-entry competition attracts many well-known clubs and players, including Sergio Aguero, Nani, and Heather O’Reilly, to name a few.

Duke Doctor of Physical Therapy Program Celebrates 80th Commencement
The Class of 2024, a group of 94 remarkable individuals, was formally hooded and awarded their doctorates on Saturday, May 11, in a special ceremony at the Washington Duke Inn. This momentous occasion marked the 80th class to graduate from the esteemed Duke physical therapy program.
