Equipping occupational therapists to empower low vision patients

On May 4, the Duke Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) Program honored the first graduating class of 36 students at a morning commencement ceremony at the Duke University Chapel. With their dedication and hard work, this class has achieved remarkable success, which was overwhelmingly present at the ceremony.   

Raven Hill is an occupational therapist with Duke University Health System and a teaching assistant in Duke's Occupational Therapy Doctorate and Doctor of Physical Therapy programs. 

In an article written by Alex Haire, she talks about the most rewarding part of her job, where she's been able to make the most impact, and her aspirations for the future of the occupational therapy profession.

Duke’s Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program is in the top 10 percent of occupational therapy programs in the U.S., according to the 2024 U.S. News and World Report (USNWR) ranking released this week.
