Additional OTD Financial Aid Information

Graduate Assistantships: Graduate Assistants perform various duties assisting staff and faculty in the OTD division (similar to a work-study position). Students can apply at the end of their first semester. Graduate Assistants can work up to 19 hours per week and are paid $15.00 per hour. The program intends to hire a limited number of Graduate Assistants each year.

A portion of your education loans may be forgiven by providing occupational therapy services in North Carolina up to $56,000.

ALLIED HEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS
AMBUCS Scholarship for Allied Health Professionals
National AMBUCS, Inc. awards scholarships ranging from $500–$6000 to students pursuing degrees in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and hearing audiology.

Over $9.1 million in scholarships have been awarded to over 16,000 students with $500-$1500 and one two-year award for $6000.

AMERICAN OT FEDERATION SCHOLARSHIPS
Over 50 scholarships are available from the American Occupational Therapy Foundation and state occupational therapy associations with multiple scholarships available up to $5000. Applicants only have to complete one online form to apply for all qualifying scholarships.
