Graduate Assistantships

Graduate Assistants perform various duties assisting staff and faculty in the OTD division (similar to a work-study position). Students can apply at the end of their first semester. Graduate Assistants can work up to 19 hours per week and are paid $16 per hour. The program intends to hire a limited number of Graduate Assistants each year.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness

If you're employed by a government or not-for-profit organization, you might be eligible for the program and to have the balance of your loan forgiven after a certain number of payments.

Allied Health Scholarships

National AMBUCS, Inc. awards the scholarships ranging from $500–6,000 to students pursuing degrees in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and hearing audiology.

Over $9.1 million in scholarships have been awarded to over 16,000 students with $500-1,500 and one two-year award for $6,000.

American OT Federation Scholarships

More than 50 scholarships are available from the American Occupational Therapy Foundation and state occupational therapy associations with multiple scholarships available up to $5,000. Applicants only have to complete one online form to apply for all qualifying scholarships.
