Congratulations to the following individuals, who have completed the 2021 ALICE Program. The Academic Leadership, Innovation, and Collaborative Engagement program is a yearlong leadership development program for mid-career women faculty in leadership roles.

Congratulations to the 2021 ADVANCE-UP program graduates! 

Applications are open for the School of Medicine ALICE program, a year-long leadership development program for mid-career women faculty. The program offers opportunities to develop and hone leadership skills, set goals, meet institutional leaders, and build a network of women colleagues at a similar career stage. Applications are due November 21.

The School of Medicine Office for Faculty is now accepting applications for the 2022 LEADER Program.

The School of Medicine Office for Faculty is pleased to announce the start of the 2021-2022 cycle of the School of Medicine Academic New Faculty Orientation (NFO) series. Starting a new faculty appointment is an exciting and challenging opportunity, and whether you joined Duke this month or last year, the School of Medicine Office for Faculty wants to make sure you have the tools and support to hit the ground running and to navigate your career here.

Academic New Faculty Orientation will address the following topics:

Academic DeVelopment, Advocacy, Networking, Coaching and Education for Underrepresented Populations

The LEADER program helps faculty hone their leadership skills in order to build their research team, manage a talented group of people, deftly navigate conflict, and inspire others to do their best.

Program fellows participate in a 6-month curriculum designed to deepen awareness of healthcare operations and develop individual leadership skills.
