Page 25: Tuition section, under the tuition and fees chart should read as follows: "All individuals registered in the Duke Doctor of Medicine program at Duke University School of Medicine must meet minimum credit enrollment requirements for each year in order to be considered a full-time student."
Page 54 - Fourth-Year Course Requirements - First sentence should read as follows "Fourth-year students who do not satisfy the Clinical Skills Continuity requirement, must successfully complete a four-week, 4 credit course from the approved list of Clinical Skills Continuity electives."
Course Audit: Courses in the Doctor of Medicine program at the School of Medicine may be audited, with approval and consent of the course director, only by students currently enrolled in the MD program. Students who audit a course do not receive credit for the course. Only those classes offered in a lecture format may be audited with the written permission of the instructor. After the first week of classes in any term, no course taken as an audit can be changed to a credited course and no credited course can be changed to an audit. Further, an audited course may not be repeated for credit.
Course Enrollment for non-School of Medicine Programs: Students enrolled at Duke University in academic programs outside of the School of Medicine, are not permitted to enroll or audit any course offered through the School of Medicine. This includes courses in the Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master in Biomedical Sciences, Masters in Biostatistics Programs, Master in Clinical Informatics, Master of Health Science-Physician Assistant, Pathologist Assistant, Clinical Leadership, and Clinical Research.

Approved Acute Care Courses - PEDS 411C is a course that has been approved to satisfy the acute care course requirement. The course is variable credit (3-4), but in order for the course to count toward credit for the acute care course, students must enroll in 4 credits.

Medicine 424C - Enrollment is open to all eligible students, no permission from course faculty is required to enroll. The course is offered during the Spring section 81 only (roughly early January to end of February). We understand many students are traveling for interviews during this section. In 2021, we will conduct the course via Zoom, so students will be able to participate in live sessions even while traveling. You will need a working computer/tablet/smartphone and internet access to participate in the course. Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30p - 7:30p.
