Networking is a fundamental tenet of the Program. Students are taught how and where to network, they are offered a series of opportunities to do so with industry leaders and alumni of the Program. With the strength of the Duke Alumni Network of 237,000 alums and the hundreds of alumni of the MMCi Program students have unlimited opportunities to network with industry leaders.
Networking Events
As part of the Career Development Program MMCi invites leaders from a variety of heath industry terms to provide how informatics and artificial intelligence is changing their organizations as well as networking opportunities for MMCi students. These events occur on Thursday evening via Zoom and on Fridays at lunch.
A themed series of panels is scheduled on Thursday evenings, topics include: Digital Health, Consulting, CIO’s, Analytics and Healthcare employer panels. Guest speakers present to students at Friday lunch usually in person. Examples include:
