General Questions

MMCi is a unique one-year program focusing on business, technology and strategy in health care. The program has a one-of-a-kind professional development component focusing on teamwork, interpersonal, networking and communication skills, all of which the marketplace is demanding from future industry leaders.

Students come with clinical, business, technology and other backgrounds, with work experience varying from new graduates to 30 years. This diversity brings value to the student experience.

A new class begins once a year in late summer with orientation and boot camp. Classes start in August and the program is completed in 12 months. Classes are 1 Friday and Saturday onsite weekend per month, coupled with 1 Saturday online live, and independent work. The format is designed to accommodate working professionals by providing some flexibility in schedule while maximizing face time with faculty and peers. Class days, whether Friday and Saturday or just Saturday are 8 to 5. Meals are provided during class days to allow students to maximize the time together with fellow students.

The program cost with all fees, books and hospitality fees is approximately $65,000. A typical scholarship is $12,000 to $15,000. There is no separate application process to apply for a scholarship.

Graduates transitioning to new positions gain an average income increase of 20 percent or more.

A series of themed panels of health care industry experts is held on Thursday evenings as well. Executive coaching is offered to all students to help guide them throughout their careers

Application Process

You can apply online. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and there is no fee to apply.

For graduates of U.S. universities, the GRE/GMAT is not required, however it may strengthen the application. We reserve the right to request the GRE/GMAT for admission. Experience and education are reviewed. Contact us for more information.

International students submit the same application; however, they must also provide proof of funding to qualify for a student visa as well as provide their GRE/GMAT scores.

TOEFL scores may be required in some circumstances.

Class Schedules and Format

Classes are Friday and Saturday onsite once a month, and an additional Saturday on Zoom from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with breaks. About 8 hours of asynchronous work is completed each month. This blend of learning formats appeals to all styles. Food is provided when students are onsite.

The experience is a combination of business, management, strategy and informatics courses and include Health IT Strategy, Marketing Analysis, Health IT Business Solutions, Applied Data Science and others. All classes are recorded and are available to enrolled students.

The MMCi program is a blend of onsite class days, coupled with online class days and some independent work. The format requires approximately 1 Friday and Saturday class weekend per month on site, an additional Saturday online plus some online lecture delivery and independent work
