T3 Milestone Evaluations were designed to measure School of Medicine PhD Students' mastery of OBGE’s Core Competencies through a set of Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs). Each evaluation contains Likert-scale items with a 5-point rating scale (1=Poor, 2=Insufficient, 3=Competent, 4=Very good, and 5=Superlative).
The Final Dissertation Defense evaluation is a summative assessment. Other evaluations are designed as formative assessments, where students will receive feedback on SLOs at multiple points to improve toward meeting the highest standard.
