 Welcome! The Office of the SoM Registrar manages and maintains the academic records of all active and former Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor and Master of Health Sciences, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Allied Health Graduate and Certificate Program students.

The Registrar is responsible for the registration of all students, management of all student records, verification and processing of attendance, satisfactory progress, transcript requests and degree candidate information.

For Duke University undergraduate student records, and student records for programs that are not located within the School of Medicine, please contact the Office of the University Registrar or call (919) 684-2813.

For residency, internship, and fellowship verifications, please contact the Office of Graduate Medical Education at 919-684-3491.

On-line Registration for MD Program - Fall 2020:

MED3 - online- registration to enroll in selective courses for Fall 2020 opens at 8:30am on August 12th and will close at 1:00pm on August 18th. Schedule changes for the fall that are requested after that period will need to be made via an electronic Drop/Add form. The link to the electronic forms may be found on the SoM Registrar’s website, under “2nd Year MD Students”. 

MED4- on-line drop/add period for sections fall 43, 44 and 82 closes at 1:00pm on October 2, 2020.  Schedule changes made after that date for summer 43/44 will require completion of a drop/add form, which may be found on the SoM Registrar's website.
