History
The Davison Club at Duke University School of Medicine was established in 1969 by a group of dedicated Duke medical alumni to honor founding dean Wilburt Cornell Davison, MD. He was known for his generosity to help medical students. The club’s name was changed in July 2025 to the Wilburt C. Davison Society. The members continue Davison’s legacy by providing crucial, unrestricted support for medical education at Duke.
