City of Medicine Academy (CMA): Duke AHEC assists with CMA - specific programs for Health Career exploration in various focus areas, including but not limited to Pharmacy, Certified Nurse Assistant, and more.
Duke AHEC collaborates with all AHECs across the state, with particular support in the heart of the triangle alongside Piedmont and Wake AHEC. We offer various avenues for partnership:
- High School Career Fairs: Participate in career fairs to inspire and educate high school students about health careers.
- Health Science Track Build-out and Support: Collaborate to enhance health science education programs in local schools.
- Key Topics like Technology and Healthcare: Join us in presenting key topics that bridge technology and healthcare to educate students and professionals alike.
- Guest Speakers: Bring in healthcare professionals and industry members to provide insights and mentorship to students.
