In November 2023, Mexico's Ministry of Culture and the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature opened “Pedro Lasch: Entre líneas / Between the Lines” at Mexico City’s Laboratorio Arte Alameda. The exhibit is a significant event for Lasch — a research professor of Art, Art History & Visual Studies — and the first retrospective of his career.
GQ Survey Reminder
Graduating students - you should have an email from the AAMC inviting you to complete the Graduation Questionnaire (GQ) survey which is sent to all graduating students to be used in program evaluation and to improve medical student experience. While completing the GQ is voluntary, the AAMC expects programs to have at least a 70% completion rate. We are at 25% - please help DukeMed by completing the survey!

On May 4, the Duke Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) Program honored the first graduating class of 36 students at a morning commencement ceremony at the Duke University Chapel. With their dedication and hard work, this class has achieved remarkable success, which was overwhelmingly present at the ceremony.

Peer Support Pilot Program for Health Professions Students Coming Soon
The Office of Learning Environment and Wellbeing will launch a pilot project to investigate the feasibility and impact of a cross-disciplinary peer support program on connectedness, burnout, and wellness for students in health professions education programs.
