Originally from Memphis, TN, Tamara graduated from Middle Tennessee State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology. She was drawn to pursue her degree at Duke because of their commitment to inclusion. This resonates with Tamara’s vision of a society where every individual is afforded equitable opportunities and representation. She is excited to blend her passions and experiences to contribute to a more inclusive and compassionate world as a future OT.
