NAVIGATOR
Evidence shows that students in health professions education programs can be vulnerable to depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns – and that various barriers prevent help-seeking. Le Well has a full-time Well-Being Navigator, Jeanine Bandini, LCSW to help.  Jeanine received her MA at Boston University and has worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Case Manager since 1996.  You can reach her via email: Jeanine.Bandini@duke.edu or via submitting a self-referral at this link: Le Well Student Referral Form

CAPS @ Le Well
Le Well and Duke's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) are collaborating to decrease barriers in helping our students optimize their mental health. Students in all of the SOM Health Profession Education Programs are eligible to access a CAPS counselor in the Medical Center Library, Room 104-C (basement floor). Counselors will be on-site Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday afternoons. More information here

Students in the School of Medicine programs are also welcome to present to CAPS at the campus Wellness Center. Video visits are available many times.
