D'Agostino had this article accepted by the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association: Standardizing, Harmonizing, and Protecting Data Collection to Broaden the Impact of COVID-19 Research: The Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics-Underserved Populations (RADx-UP) Initiative.
PAEA, CASPA Expand Fee Waiver
On April 8, the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) and the Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA) announced they will be expanding their popular fee waiver program to cover more of the fees associated with applying to PA school.
Duke PA Alum Participated in Successful Indian Health Services Contact Tracing Model Highlighted by Time Magazine
Duke Physician Assistant Program alumn Kate Pocock ('13) spent the first part of the pandemic working in Arizona on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. The multidisciplinary team worked with Indian Health Services (IHS) to take an in-person approach to contact tracing.
Gbadegesin Elected to the Association of American Physicians
Rasheed Gbadegesin, MD, MBBS, of Duke University School of Medicine has been elected to the Association of American Physicians (AAP). He was inducted during the joint meeting of the AAP, the American Society for Clinical Investigation (ASCI), and the American Physician-Scientists Association (APSA) on April 8, 2022.
