This group within ORC drafts, reviews,  negotiates and approves agreements related to multi-center clinical trials managed by Duke and other clinical research projects not handled by the other ORC groups. This group also handles clinical data transfer agreements, educational program agreements, visiting scholar/researcher agreements, and other miscellaneous clinical research agreements.  This group serves as the ORC liaison with the Duke IRB to help assure consistency between the terms of agreements with research sponsors and the promises made to our research subjects in seeking their informed consent, and also with the DUHS Office of Risk Management to address issues relating to insurance and liability in clinical trials.
