UPPG students follow a variety of career paths after graduation. Many of our alumni go on to research careers in academia or industry, or teaching careers in liberal arts colleges. Others pursue less traditional paths including patent law, consulting, or even film making. The breadth of career opportunities available to our graduates reflects UPGG’s commitment to professional development and a focus on fundamental skills that are uniformly valued across industries and disciplines. These skills include (but are not limited to) critical thinking, written and oral communication, quantitative reasoning, working in collaborative groups, and leadership. Below is a link to data collected by the graduate school that details where our students go after graduation.
