Two from Duke Selected for 2018-2019 ELAM Program

With more than 9 years of experience, our office knows NIH’s research grant applications very well, particularly multi-component mechanisms such as P01, P30, P50, and U54. Duke Performs State's First Liver Transplant from HIV Donor to HIV Recipient

In December, Duke transplant surgeons performed the state’s and region’s first organ transplant from a deceased HIV-positive donor to an HIV-positive recipient. This type of transplant had been illegal until just a few years ago, but the federal law was changed after clinical evidence demonstrated it was safe.
