Hi! My name is Zoya and I'm an MS3 in the Primary Care Leadership Track. I graduated from Harvard in 2022 and studied Cognitive Neuroscience and Education. I spent my gap year before medical school working on maternal and child health research in Karachi, Pakistan! Over my clinical year, I realized how much I enjoy caring for family units, and having patients across the age/health spectrum. For these reasons, I am super interested in Family Medicine, and am interested in receiving full-spectrum training where I am competent in pediatric, adult, geriatric, and obstetrics care! At Duke, I'm a CSF1 student leader, TA for the Postpartum Partners course, Curriculum Committee rep, and on the Narratives and Family Med Interest Group's boards! My third year research project is through MERP and is focused on medical education and women's health. Please feel free to reach out with any questions related to the application process, Duke's curriculum, PCLT, medical education, life in Durham, finding babies to sit, research, and/or anything else!
