Zikang Tan is a 3rd year medical student at the Duke University School of Medicine. Originally born in Guangzhou, China, he moved to Georgia in 2008 and studied Human Health at Emory University for his bachelor's degree. Zikang worked as a medical assistant during his gap years at a vascular surgery clinic before starting medical school in 2024. He is interested in pursuing general surgery or interventional radiology. Outside of school, he enjoys playing tennis and practicing Muay Thai.
