Hello! I’m Will, and I am loving my experience as a Duke MS1. I was involved in lots of public health research experiences and service initiatives in undergraduate. Additionally, I lived abroad in the Ivory Coast for a year. I am interested in tackling prevalent United States cardiovascular and GI diseases through interventions at the individual level through clinical work, and at the population level through research and policy advocacy.
My dream career would be working as an academic cardiologist that is also involved in public health work at the community, national, and global health level. In my free time, I love cooking, reading, and staying active. Duke has lots of great resources to get you to where you want to go and I am happy to talk about that or any other questions!
