Originally from Greensboro, NC, Taylor graduated with a major in Recreation Therapy and a minor in Assistance Dog Training from the University of North Carolina—Wilmington. She fell in love with occupational therapy after completing an internship in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, where she worked on an interdisciplinary team with a large variety of individuals and diagnoses. She chose Duke OTD because she values continuous learning and Duke OTD’s holistic approach to students, curriculum, and occupational therapy practice.
