Hi! My name is Sophie and I’m an MS2 in PCLT from Chapel Hill, NC. I’ve always been interested in how social and environmental factors affect health and spent several years in a climate advocacy fellowship, collaborating with historically underserved communities across NC to advance environmental justice projects. After working as a MedServe Fellow in Western NC after college, I realized that primary care sits at the intersection of my interests in community health, social determinants of health, and humanistic medicine. Outside of medicine, I love to hike, bike, garden, and spend time with my partner and friends!
