Hi all! I'm Sarah, and I'm a rising MS3! I grew up moving around internationally but went to high school in Northern Virginia and undergrad at the University of Virginia, where I studied biology and religious studies. For my five gap years, I worked in genetic toxicology research and as an MA in a pediatric cardiology office. Some things I'm involved with at Duke include our book club DukeMed Reads, the Anesthesia Interest Group, the Cardiovascular Medicine and Surgery Interest Group, pediatric cardiology research (which I'll be doing my third year in!), and the Armstrong Scholars Program.
