Hi! My name is Samantha White, and I am an MS1 in PCLT. I grew up in Billerica, MA, and I graduated from Harvard in 2020 with a degree in Neuroscience with a minor in the Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality. During my time in college, I was a mentor to incarcerated youth, an after-school program coordinator, and a peer educator on topics such as healthy relationships, consent, and sexual violence. I spent my first gap year as a COVID-19 contact tracer, where I was able to serve my community during the pandemic and provide support to vulnerable residents in Massachusetts. During my second gap year, I was a Learning Strategist, where I provided tutoring and academic support to first-gen, low-income students. My clinical interests include pediatrics, child psychiatry, OBGYN, and family medicine (I know, I am very indecisive). Although I have vast clinical interests, my main goal in my future medical career is to serve marginalized communities, specifically incarcerated and formerly incarcerated folks. I am passionate about advocating for health equity for incarcerated individuals and educating youth on health and well-being. In my free time, I enjoy going for “hot girl walks,” spending time with friends and family, and discovering cute coffee shops in the area!
