Hola! Soy Patricia Carolina Loftin and I serve as a course coordinator in the Office of Curricular Affairs with Duke University School of Medicine. I coordinate the first-year, basic science curriculum and love creating meaningful connections with the Duke Med students and my team. I moved here from Venezuela and hold a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from the Universidad de los Andes located in Merida. Prior to relocating to the US, I worked as a licensed nutritionist in my own private practice and also held various clinical nutritionist positions with both state-sponsored and community healthcare providers. I also taught classes as a professor at various universities. I am honored to be a member of the Community and Career committees with ¡DALHE! and am delighted to be a part of the employee resource group (ERG). In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and traveling.
