Assistant Dean and Assistant Chief HR Officer

Nick Jeffreys is the Assistant Dean and ACHRO for Duke University’s School of Medicine. In this role, he oversees the School of Medicine’s Human Resources Service Center and supports the School of Medicine in determining the Human Resources strategic and programmatic needs and priorities for the School as well as multiple departments within the School.
He has worked at Duke since March 2018. Prior to his time at Duke, he held an HR leadership role at UNC-Chapel Hill and was an Associate Consultant at Sibson Consulting.
Nick received his undergraduate degrees from N.C. State in Communication and Business Management, and his graduate degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Tennessee.
