Hello! Welcome to the PCLT student page~ My name is Monique Marie Vilme. I was born in Queens and raised primarily in Long Island, New York. I am Haitian American. I graduated from Macaulay Honors College at CUNY Hunter in 2021 with a BA in Human Biology with a concentration in Body, Health, and Mind and a minor in Japanese Studies. After graduating a semester early, I spent 1.5 years in Japan teaching English to elementary and junior high school student in a small fishing town. I am very passionate about maternal and child health, improving racial disparities in health care, and community health. I love reading and trying new restaurants!
