Katy Boyd is an HR Departmental Director providing Human Resources support across Duke University School of Medicine, particularly in employee relations, policy interpretation, compliance, training and development, and consultation with leaders and team members on the needs of the School of Medicine and its employees.
Katy first came to Duke as a graduate student in 2014. After receiving her J.D. from Duke Law School, Katy worked in Duke's Office of Counsel and in Staff and Labor Relations before joining the School of Medicine in June 2022.
She received her undergraduate degrees in English and International Studies with honors from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas
