Originally from Mississippi, Katie is a dedicated Duke University supporter in several academic schools. She graduated from the University of West Alabama with a bachelor’s in Health Science and Psychology. Katie loves thrift shopping, gardening, and cooking. Since moving to North Carolina, she has adopted new occupations in the beautiful outdoors. Katie is a student in two schools at Duke--Duke OTD and Duke Divinity School, via the OTD Theology certificate. Katie chose Duke because of the limitless opportunities for community-based care and the unique perspective of occupation offered through personalized facilitation of professional growth.
