Judith Holder, Ph.D.
Dr. Judith Holder services as an Adjunct Associate Professor of the Practice of Medical Education and member of the executive team and advisor in Duke’s Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) program, where she developed the curriculum focused on teamwork (i.e., Optimizing Team Success) in the program’s team-based learning environment. She guides students in cultivating self-knowledge, emotional intelligence in team dynamics, and interpersonal skills that enhance collaboration, social and leadership effectiveness in biomedical and healthcare settings. She is a licensed psychologist and leadership, communication, and interpersonal effectiveness coach—both a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Board-Certified Coach (BCC) and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF)—Dr. Holder believes that true leadership begins with self-awareness and the courage to grow from within. Beyond Duke, Dr. Holder is the founder of Unique Pathways Coaching and Consulting Services, PLLC in Durham N.C. where she partners with healthcare and business leaders to foster clarity, authenticity, and transformational growth through coaching, facilitation and leader consultation regarding team dynamics. She also hosts a podcast and YouTube channel where she offers perspectives on personal and professional development, and strategies in combining psychology and spirituality in mastering life’s adventures.
