Faculty Director, Office for Research Mentoring
Dr. Gentzon Hall is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Nephrology, and a faculty member at the Duke Molecular Physiology Institute where is laboratory focuses on the genetics of inherited kidney disease with a special focus on focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). Dr. Hall is the Faculty Director for the Office of Research Mentoring and facilitator for the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) Center for th Improvement of the Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER) mentoring education program. He is also the Founding Director of the GlomCon Foundation Mentored Internship Program in Nephrology (MIPiN) and the Director of the GlomCon Foundation HBCU Outreach and Workforce Development Department.
