Hi everyone! My name is Finola Summerville, and I am an MS1 at Duke. I grew up in Lake Bluff, IL, a suburb of Chicago. I stayed in the Chicago area for undergrad at Northwestern University (go cats!), and I graduated from Northwestern with a major in neuroscience and a minor in Spanish. After graduation, I spent one and a half gap years doing research focused on patient-reported outcomes in knee arthritis care. Outside of school, I love running, listening to Taylor Swift, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Chicago Bears.
