I am from the Boston area and studied at Brown University prior to starting at Duke. During my MS3 (and MS3+) year, I have funding from the NIH CTSA TL1 scholarship to complete the Clinical Research Training Program. My research focuses on nicotine/tobacco, especially the potential effects of policy and novel products on smoking cessation in at-risk populations. Clinically, I am interested in physical medicine and rehabilitation, so I am also exploring connections between addiction and pain. At Duke, I started an interprofessional group for health professional students with disability/chronic illness. I also started (with other PCLT students!) a hybrid home/telehealth service program that connects medical students with low-income older adults and people with disabilities who require in-home primary care.
