Christina is a student in the OTD class of 2026 from Raleigh, NC. She completed her undergraduate studies at Elon University where she got her B.S. in Dance Science with minors in psychology and early childhood education. She became interested in occupational therapy due to its integration of the body and the mind and the ways in which she saw it help others. Christina was drawn to the Duke OTD program by its holistic approach and emphasis on occupational justice. She hopes to become a pediatric OT to help children with disabilities, delays, and other needs to participate in fun and meaningful occupations.
