Caroline is a student in the Duke OTD inaugural cohort and a proud Durham, North Carolina native. She graduated from UNC-Greensboro in 2020 with her bachelor’s in recreation therapy. She chose Duke OTD because she saw her passion for advocacy and inclusion in its mission, vision, and curriculum, and she knew this program would equip her with the skills she needed to be a leader and change-maker in the field. After graduation, Caroline envisions herself practicing OT in the community with folks with serious mental illnesses or low-wealth older adults.
