I grew up in a small North Carolina town where my Southern roots run deep. I graduated from NC State University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology which has driven my interest in mental health occupational therapy. I find it fascinating, as it addresses an aspect of individual health that is often overlooked in society.
As a first-generation college student and Native American, I cherish these aspects of my identity and the journey that has brought me to Duke OTD.
I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family in my free time. I also love caring for my dog, Bentley, and attending concerts. These occupations bring me joy and enrich my life beyond words.
