A proud African America originally from Columbia, SC, I graduated in 2022 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, with a minor in Child and Family Development. I love meeting new people, trying new foods, and experiencing new cultures.
Throughout my academic and professional career, inclusion and equity have always been priorities for me. I was drawn to Duke’s OTD program because of the sincerity of the faculty and staff along with the program’s vision of a more inclusive world. I hope to grow from my life experiences and to use this personal and professional growth to empower those around me throughout my time at Duke and onward.
My favorite occupations include being a plant/dog mom, cooking, singing, and taking nature walks.
