Hi! I'm Arianna, and I am currently a first-year medical student here at Duke. I graduated from UNC–Chapel Hill in 2023 with a degree in Biology and Romance Languages. After undergrad, I took two gap years—first completing the Duke Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) program, and then working as a medical assistant in my hometown of Kinston, NC. Along the way, I’ve had the chance to explore a variety of research interests, including cardiovascular biology, Hispanic linguistics, health disparities, and neurocognitive health equity.
Outside of school, I love cooking, playing tennis, going to group fitness classes, watching NBA basketball, and spending time with my dogs, Kairo and Mali. I’m also a big fan of mixing up Cookout milkshake flavors with my friends!
