Hi everyone! My name is Alexa and I'm an MS3 from the Bay Area, California. After graduating from Stanford in 2021, I worked at an FQHC and realized I wanted to go to med school, so I completed a post-bacc program at Bryn Mawr and could not be happier to have ended up at Duke.

At Duke Med, I am involved with the Pediatrics Interest Group, HEY Durham (teaching health class to high schoolers), Root Causes (distributing fresh produce to families experiencing food insecurity), and much more. In my free time, I love volleyball and pickle ball, hiking/backpacking, singing/live music, Duke basketball games, and checking out breweries and food spots in Durham with friends.
