Sometimes a little technology can save a lot of effort. A valuable tool for creating and maintaining complete and compliant biosketches for National Institutes of Health applications in the NIH’s “SciENVcv” system.
This coming Monday, September 24, 10:30- 11:30 am, in Pearson 1026 – at the School of Nursing – the latest in the new research town hall series will provide an introduction to SciENVcv and how it can help you with your NIH biosketch. Presenter Gina Della Porta, DHSc, MHS, Director of Research Development at the Duke School of Nursing, has guided many people through SciENVcv and has a broad understanding of various sponsors’ biosketch expectations.
Attendees will learn how to:
1) Describe the essential components and requirements of the NIH Biographical Sketch;
2) Create and update NIH, NIH Fellowship, and National Science Foundation (NSF) formatted biosketches using SciENcv; and
3) Manage lists of publications and other professional information using MyNCBI and SciENcv.
