Dr. Nitin Mehdiratta is the co-director of the Duke Regional Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and has put together a great plan for managing our surge of patients. I've had the opportunity to see things first and know how hard he's been working. It is such an honor to be able to work with him and know that our team is in good hands.

Dr. Mehdiratta has he been an integral part of the Duke Regional Hosptial Intensive Care Unit (ICU) surge process planning, an invaluable member of the ICU leadership team and a huge asset in his role as Associate Medical Director of the ICU. His compassion, kindness, positive outlook and unwavering support of the staff is nothing but remarkable, noteworthy and exemplary. He is the definition of a hero amongst us.
