For the past few weeks, Mark has worked tirelessly to arrange for his Pharmacy Techs to work at home, when applicable. Unlike other positions, the Pharmacy Techs did not have laptops, hence Mark has worked with IT and administration to get computers for his employees to take home, as well as developed tip sheets and instructions for setting up home work stations and working at home habits. He continues to manage these efforts while also simultaneously ensuring the Duke Specialty Pharmacy remains accredited, managing his groups' activities, and being on call when needed to assist in the pharmacies. Mark's leadership, dedication, and level-headedness is to be commended and admired. I certainly admire and appreciate his commitment to Duke and the support he provides to his direct reports; he definitely believes in and embodies the Duke values.
