Kamara Carpenter

A hero I work with is Kamara Carpenter, a senior program coordinator in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. In her role coordinating Hospital Psychiatry services, she hasn't missed a beat as the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the world. She has scheduled and rescheduled numerous Zoom-based huddles, during which she carefully listens for, proposes, and takes any action possible to support the Hospital Psychiatry group and our patients. She has also done an outstanding job coordinating medical student education during a period of unexpected upheaval and change. She has helped create opportunities for medical students to complete the first half of their clerkship virtually, in hopes of their return to clinical services sometime in the summer. To interact with Kamara is to feel and be well taken care of ... and our patients, our learners and we are incredibly grateful. Thank you, Kamara!
