James A. Spudich Gives 6th Annual Robert J. Lefkowitz MD Distinguished Lecture

On May 1, 2019, Duke University School of Medicine welcomed James A. Spudich, PhD, Douglass M. and Nola Leishman Professor of Cardiovascular Disease and professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the Stanford University School of Medicine for the 6th Annual Robert J. Lefkowitz MD Distinguished Lecture.

Spudich is an expert in the molecular basis of muscle contraction. His talk was titled, “The Myosin Mesa and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy: Mutations to Mechanisms to Therapies.”
