Dean Andrews Elected Member of MIT Corporation

Nancy Andrews, MD, PhD, dean, Duke University School of Medicine, was elected to serve on the MIT Corporation — the board of trustees for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Her five-year term will begin on July 1, 2017. Dean Andrews is an alumna of MIT, receiving her PhD in biology in 1985. As of July 1, the corporation will consist of 76 distinguished leaders in education, science, engineering, and industry. Dean Andrews will step down as dean of the Duke Medical School on June 30, 2017, after serving in this role for ten years.
