Duke University’s Master of Management in Clinical Informatics (MMCi) program celebrates the graduation of the class of 2018 on Saturday August 18th. The class is comprised of 27 health care professionals with clinical, technical and business backgrounds. Jeff Ferranti, MD, Duke Health CIO presided over the ceremony and Amy Abernethy, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Flatiron Health was the commencement speaker. Dr. Abernethy cited the industry need for a new skill set, MMCi skills, to advance digital health by connecting disparate organizational functions in common purpose.
