Beth Hollister is the research practice manager for the Section of Surgical Sciences. She has led the Surgery Office of Clinical Research team through the transition of all but a handful of our 500+ studies to virtual over the past 3 weeks. The team rallied and prepped for working from home, as core members volunteered for our essential studies requiring patient-contact, and the managers have created Webex meetings and email check-in's to ensure safety, health, and well-being.
This is a tough time, but working with the Surgery Research Team has never been more exciting. We always say we like to be pushed to our growth edge, and this epidemic has proven we're up to it! Thank you to my amazing team and our lead, Beth.
